Tune in every friday to update your iPod. From now on Rasmus will contribute with a new track every Friday right here on this motha f'ing blog!
I asked Rasmus to tell a little about him self.. Like what some of his favourite tracks are, his favourite album, artist and so on.. here it goes:

Hello hello I'm Rasmus Behncke!
I'm working as the assistant for radiohost / DJ Le Gammeltoft. I'm spotting new tunes for her radio show Unga Bunga.
I'm actually co-hosting the show for the first time tonight so I'm pretty excited and a bit scared right now.... Tune in on P3 from 9pm until midnight!
I also work with the record label called Sound of Copenhagen. We release 2 compilations a year - we acually just released Volume 8 last week - with electronic tunes from the underground of Copenhagen.
I haven't been DJ'ing for very long, but I've somehow gotten around to play at Nationalmuseet and Toldboden - oh and I made the royal family dance last summer.. Well some of them..
Currently on repeat:
Rewards - Equal Dreams (Feat. Solange Knowles) - yes yes Beyoncés sister's aparently got a thing for nu-disco. Who knew?
Lana Del Ray - Born To Die (Gucci Vump Remix) - not much of the original track is left. But this version takes Lana to the dancefloor.
Oliver - Dirty Talk - such a brutal disco banger.
Current favourite album (since it changes all the time):
New Look with their debut album from last year called New Look. Mellow pop tunes with a hint of The xx. It features 'The Ballad' which should have been on the Drive soundtrack if you ask me. The music video is actually shot in a car, and was released before the movie...
I think my all time favourite artist is Róisín Múrphy. No doubt the coolest popstar out there with a wardrobe like no other.
Like bye bye gaga. She is working on new music at the moment, I think we'll hear from her again very soon.

And now on to what it's all about:
Track of the week: EJ - Mama I'm Gonna Sing
This is such a weirdly addictive tune I came acros a few weeks ago. EJ grew up in sweeden, now lives in London. The track is almost gospel inspired. It's super catchy and super short. 2 minutes for a pop song, that's nice for once. I think EJ could become the next big thing...
The track has been remixed by Pete Tong, Savage Skulls and Jamie Jones. We've already played Jamie Jones remix of the tune on Unga Bunga. It's worth checking out if you're in the mood for some oldschool house.
